About the game
Metronome is an awesome hour-long 1st person narrative experience featuring quirky mechanics such as wall running and a grappling hook. It features a compelling story and a wide array of gameplay that extends from exploration to platforming.
In Metronome I was a gameplay designer, a level designer and a scripter. I created various levels that tied into the narrative. The overarching story of the game covers the five stages of acceptance, something I thoroughly researched and allowed to reflect in both my level and mechanics design. All the mechanics that were needed for my levels were scripted by myself. I co-designed a voxel engine with a programmer in our team that was used for some of the game. I also was in charge of testing the builds on the PS4 dev kit.
